Process
This hoodie starts with yellow scrap fabric which I cut a scull logo from. I then appliqued the previously mentioned logo onto a 3 yard roll of white french terry fabric. Once the logo fabric is attatched to the french terry it is then submerged into a boiling dye-bath (in a plastic tub inside my bathtub in my appartment). After the fabric is churned for a constant 45 minutes it is then run through multiple clean water rinces to remove excess dye. Once the clean wash is done the fabric is hung and dried for atleast 24 hours before steaming, marking or cutting can begin. This garment is made up of 16 sperate pieces fabric pieces excluding wash and size tags.
 
This was my first hoodie using my interlocking machine so the interior of the garment is finished cleanly. However, I believe that the settings on my machine were too tight which is stressing the fabric and may be prone to rips.
